Wet For Went is Six Months Old Today!

6 months ago today, on a Friday the 13th just like this one, Wentlust took me over. I decided to start a blog that very same day and the rest is history.

Thank you (yes you) for continuing to come back to this place day after day. It's more than a blog now, it's a community and I have formed friendships here that I treasure (some of you who have been absent lately I really miss, so come back to me).

Taking a trip down memory lane, I discovered something I posted about Went (elsewhere) from December 2005. I had no idea it had been that long. What a love affair we've had Wentworth and it deserves something special.



Oh how I've loved Pairing him up, Listening to him sing, Sending him fan letters, Picking favorite comments, Fighting with him, Slashing him up, Proving he isn't gay (even before he said it), Getting confirmation of his sexiness (although he should have been #1), Writing him very bad poetry, Youtubing to greatness (I love you forever Keena), The candids, Giving thanks, Getting noticed (I got over 10,000 hits from that plug), Counting down, Clearing things up, Getting sentimental, Pairing him up again, Having fun with rumors, Imagining conversations, Dissecting Articles, Discovering radio interviews, Sleuthing, Getting teased, Celebrating Wentmas, Flowing with Wentworth, Wentstralia (and the creation of the cbox thanks to Krissie), Hating with love, Falling into The Gap, Getting into an uproar (kind of like what's going on now with Scarfalotta, my how history repeats itself), Winning it for Went, Talking to his chest hair, Oogling him, The appearances, Chatting with Went in the cbox (and later with him AND the cast), Translating articles (thanks doc), Looking forward to things that never came to pass but having a good time anyway and partying like it was 1999, Redecorating, Breaking up, Masturbating, Wentkorea...

The lust, the laughter, the tears, the heart attacks, the mania, the joy, the heart-break, the excitement, the longing...Here's to more, much, much more, and here's to you Wentworth Miller. I created this place as an outlet for my insane ramblings and as a parody of the Went fangirl in all of us but what it turned out to be is a love letter, and so, I'll sign it.

Last month I missed it, this month I caught it! Four months of non-stop Wentworth Miller Madness. May it never end...



And now for a special treat: In honor of this milestone, Mr. Miller would like to make a speech.

*chuckling* Alright quiet down you. Happy Anniversary Wet For Went and loyal readers! I've been asked to speak to you today as I am the focus of the site (though I can't say I agree that I deserve so much attention). Now I will read a statement given to me by WFW. [statement]Who knew that this adorable teen you see here would grow into this ridiculously sexy specimen of man you see before you today. Let's use a visual aid:

Random Blogness

As some of you may have noticed, my audio files are down at the moment. The site I use to host them has been down for maintenance for a while now and as I am tired of waiting for them to come back up, I will be using a new site. Luckily I have the post categories that will help me find most of the audio. I can only hope I saved it all on my hard drive (although I'm pretty sure I have most if not all of it). You can help me out by telling me if you find a dead link anywhere, after I'm finished of course which I will try to be by Monday. (UPDATE: It's fixed)

The bracelets should be here next week. If you ordered one, let me know whether you want Wet For Went spelled out or just the letters WFW. They are available both ways. I ordered a few extra so it is still possible to get one. The designer has also informed me that it IS possible to add the beauty mark so we'll all get our wish!

I didn't get to the Comments of the Week last week so this Fridays' will include 2 weeks worth of comments.

Less than a week until Prison Break comes back...You excited?

I let the 3 month blog anniversary slip by without so much as a word! On 1/13/2007 the blog turned 3 months old. I know I say this everytime, but I really can't believe I have stuck with it this long. Wentworth, this is like, the longest relationship I've had in years and you haven't even put out yet. Thank you all so much for visiting and although things have been slow lately, it's about to pick back up.

To my inspiration: Went, you could not have picked a better time to release those wonderful D Magazine pictures although you do realize that I may never be able to leave the computer again right?

2 months...Maybe I don't have adult ADD after all. You know what I'm going to say: Thank you Wentworth Miller for being so talented and sexy that I can't help but worship you obsessively and encourage others to do the same...Now stop being so charming before you give me a fucking heart attack!
